The IFAT India is India's leading trade fair for water, sewage, refuse and recycling. It takes place once a year in Mumbai and is an offshoot of the IFAT in Munich, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. India has just because of its large population and its expansionary economic policy great potential in terms of environmental protection and waste management. Scarce water resources, rapid industrialization, extensive farming and enormous amounts of waste confront the country with great challenges. As an effective management in the areas of water, sewage, refuse and recycling is missing, there is a strong need of information and investments. This is exactly where IFAT India steps in and provides innovative technologies and solutions to existing problems. International exhibitors show the full range of environmental technologies and services with a comprehensive product portfolio ranging from simple to technologically advanced machines and solutions in the areas of water, sewage, waste, recycling and energy conservation. The IFAT India is only accessible to trade visitors and serves them as a communication and information platform to share ideas and knowledge and culminates in the IFAT India Conference beeing an ideal complementation of the exhibition program.
The IFAT India will take place on 3 days from Monday, 15. October to Wednesday, 17. October 2018 in Mumbai.
