The event aims to overcome the barrier of the epidemic and build a platform for cooperation and exchange between Chinese and Japanese enterprises.

Japan is a world leader in science and technology, environmental protection and agriculture. Recently, the Japanese government has proposed a number of reform measures, including achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, accelerating the digital revolution and developing smart agriculture. The two countries share the same development strategies in the future and are expected to complement and complement each other. The regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the first tariff reduction arrangement between China and Japan, has been formally signed, ushering in a rare opportunity for the two countries to strengthen industrial cooperation.

China and Japan are important economic and trade partners to each other. China is Japan's largest trading partner, while Japan is China's second largest trading partner and largest source of investment. Between January and October, the total value of trade between China and Japan was Rmb1.8tn, up 1.5 per cent year on year. Among them, China's exports to Japan and the same period last year, China's imports from Japan grew by 2.7%.
